This place is definitely a hidden gem! Unassuming from the outside, the inside is inviting and a great atmosphere. I love the sleek modern vibe. The food is absolutely incredible, from the mussels to the pizza to the mushroom pasta - it was all so good. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and truly make you feel at home. Definitely a restaurant worth traveling for!!!
They did such an incredible job renovating! The ambiance and vibes are immaculate! Everything from our cocktails to the food was incredible! We can’t wait to come back!
Food was fantastic. We had the steak frites, pizza, cheesesteak, and spanakopita. Steak was juicy and the fries were nice and crispy. Cheesesteak was spectacular was amazing as well. Pizza was neopolitan style and delicious. Spanakopita had a nice crust and the spinach and feta was very well made. Nice, airy, and chewy dough. Service was amazing - ask for Alex!
I have a secret to tell...now it’s only to you and you only. Carmine’s Newtown Square is some of the best mediterranean food in the area. Shhhhh don’t tell anyone, I don’t want it to get too busy because we want to get in next time!! From the craft cocktails and the hands down best Greek salad...octopus appetizer and muscles and blue cheese and beer sauce... To steak frites and lamb chops, this place is the sleeper hit in a long time. Tucked away in a storefront In NS with a beautiful new redo atmosphere, amazing family owned business for 20 years with fantastic service and friendly feeling of being at someone’s house. Carmines must be on your list. We had a date night tonight after a long, long week and just talking about it on the way home and how happy we were to see so many couples and families happy eating amazing food on a rainy Friday night put big smiles on our faces. Go and enjoy and let them know you’re from the Main Line and beyond, they are part of our family. Opa Opa.
My fiance and I went to Carmines Eatery the other night for dinner. At first glance we loves the aesthetic when you walk in. All the good was so delicious, we were blown away with every bite. Also our server Nick was extremely friendly and fun to chat with through out the night. We will def be going back!!
I’ve always been a fan of Carmines, but I hadn’t been there in a while and just stopped by recently and oh my goodness they have really upped their game to another level. First off it’s beautiful inside now, but what I really wanna talk about is that cheesesteak! It’s one of the absolute best I’ve had. The seeded roll was perfect. Fries were perfect. And then to tell me they have Loukoumades for dessert that rival the Greek Affair? Five out of five stars can’t wait to return.
Carmines is an adorable restaurant that recently renovated and have transformed the space into a beautiful high end restaurant serving Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. The cocktails and mocktails are delicious and the food is fantastic! The service was amazing as well. I highly recommend the bacon and fig pizza, steak frites, crispy calamari and you cannot skip the baklava cheesecake for dessert! The casa Paloma cocktail was my favorite as well. Highly recommend for the whole family or a romantic date night out.
